Thank a Property Manager Day

Friday 25th of November 2022

To describe the last few years working in the property management industry, you could use words such as “challenging” or “turbulent” to say the least. While the testing times have had positive outcomes such as technology advances and flexible working environments, property managers have faced many tough circumstances that have put their strength and resilience to the test.

At Code Property Group, we have a property management team consisting of 7 dedicated career property managers. The 25th of November is “Thank a Property Manager” day. So today, we are taking a moment to do just that and celebrate the achievements of our team despite the unprecedented challenges they have overcome every day. On any given day, our property management team navigates various issues that may or may not be related to the pandemic, s owners and tenants, heavy rainfall and flooding and the rising cost of living and that’s all before lunch. In spite of each forthcoming hurdle, our team has remained strong, focussed and unrelenting in their ability to problem solve, keep a roof over someone’s head and see that each property in the rent roll remains leased. To reflect on these times and think that our team now manages more properties than ever before and is continuously breaking leasing records is a testament to the high-quality service and dedication to clients that has never wavered.

We always say that our business isn’t about property, it’s about people and it’s our property management team that truly embody this ethos that is the heart of our company. Our property manager’s have built relationships with each of their clients on the foundations of trust, respect and understanding what their property means to them. These strong connections are not only cultivated with landlords but also with tenants who live in our Code Homes. A Code Home is a place where tenants might start a family, get their first taste of independence, experience heartbreaking loss or fulfil a lifelong dream. Whatever the circumstance may be, our property managers are there along the way with their tenants.

The honour and responsibility of creating and delivering a Code Home and what that might mean to each individual is not lost on our property managers. It all comes down to that one word, home. When someone says, “it feels like home”, they likely mean the metaphorical sense of place that they feel in the house, street, or neighbourhood. It’s this sense of place that you feel when you find “your people”. The ones you can lean on when you’re having a tough time or make you laugh when you need it the most. These are the people who support and inspire you to conquer the next challenge or achieve the next dream. This is why our “Code Home” is our team, our people.

Thankyou to our team that celebrates each other’s successes as much as you soothe each other’s worries. Thank you for bringing your expertise, empathy, conscientiousness and enthusiasm to your role, team, clients, and industry every day. Thank you for constantly striving to improve on the customer service standard we deliver and continuing to embrace new technology and togetherness into the future.
